Flippin' Sea

Hi! We are two students at EVAD, a Spanish school for game developers. This project is related to 'DevJam, Cultura Abierta', a hosted event by Game Dev Jam. In just seven days, we're creating a functional video game centered around the Spanish culture as the main theme and water as an inspiring element.

However, here's the intriguing twist: we're not programmers but rather two artists with a profound passion for game creation. Despite our lack of programming expertise, we're approaching this project with a keen desire to learn and aiming to craft something simple yet captivating.

Our game draws inspiration from the classic 'Flappy Bird.' Players will assume the role of a kid depicted in Sorolla's paintings, navigating to find a safe path back to the water's surface. Along the way, a giant Kraken will try to catch us with his tentacles, and the primary objective is to maneuver and avoid them while striving to achieve the highest possible score.
